As I suspected. Nothing there pops out as being in the slightest bit doubtful or suspect. Nice and clean, simple website by the looks of it. Makes a nice change actually.
We can't really offer any help unless we can witness the problem in action but I suspect it might have been a simple matter of clearing caches. Browsers often hand on to scripts far longer than is good for them and it is possible this caused a problem as scripts within both WordPress and Simple:Press have changed.

So you think clearing Safari or Chrome caches on the Mac would solve it?
Not sure about iPad and phone as they displayed the same problem.
Maybe we have to somehow coordinate things so you can witness the problem?

Your theme is likely broken by wp 4.5 because of the jquery update as well, your theme authors just don't know it yet. See this thread where script suddenly stopped working for people:

You should post there and give them the avada link above, have them make the change.
You can confirm this is the problem by switching themes to the Wordpress twenty fifteen theme. If it works with that theme, diagnosis is officially made.

Ya, I think on any of these you have to rule out the theme first. I'm pretty sure this is going to break a ton of webpages out there - but it's so subtle people may not notice right away.

If your problem is genuinely the same, then please refer to post #24. If this is the case there's not a lot we can do, although as Emmet Brown said you can try switching to a default theme - If that fixes the problem you know where to start!
