FYI:  Avada has released an official update (3.9.4) so you just have to update your theme in wordpress and everything works.

Sysop:  Try changing theme to one of the default wordpress theme's that they guarantee will work like "twenty fifteen" or something.  If that works, then you know its a theme problem.  If you still have an error then you know its a plugin.

General problem solving steps for this problem after updating to WP 4.5:

1. switch theme to a wordpress default theme like twenty fifteen. (if fixed, your theme is the cause)

2. deactivate all wordpress plugins except Simplepress. (if fixed, its another plugin - try one by one)

3. deactivate all SP plugins. (if fixed, its localized to an SP plugin.  Try one by one to isolate it).

4. If you've deactivated everything except SP and it still doesn't work?  Post here with your error.
