Hi

I'm upgrading from Version 4.5.0 to latest - Lots of changes, so i decidedet to go back to 4.5.0 and do the upgrade on a more user-friendly time a day - That din'nt work out :)

Now I can't get any of the versions working, both won't complete the automatic database upgrade.

What do i do, any version working is fine with me :)

Well - 8972 is the right build number for version 5.1.3. So your update went through. If you canlt actually get into the forum admin then that suggests ot just didnlt make the final version/build update in the database. And the only reason I can think of for that off-hand, would be that WP logged you out half way through the process. WP does have a habit of logging people out at inappropriate times. At least that is the only scenario I can think of.

I would suggest you logo ut manually. Log back in to your admin. Go to the forum menu. Click on the SP upgrade of it is saying it is required and then let me know what it says on the upgrade page (i.e., version to version and build to build.). It is almost certainly safe to just let it finish but worth checking...

Can you give me the information I asked for in the above post? As I suggested above - let me check that before you try it again.

I can't get into the forum admin, it just asks me to perform the upgrade, no other options?

No... please do NOT keep running it. You may do more damage.

Sorry if I did not make myself clear.

Click on the upgrade button in the admin.

At the top of the upgrade page it will tell you what version and build number you upgrading from and to. Please let me have those numbers.

As you have now actually re-run the upgrade at least twice then we migt have extra problems.

Are you able and willing to change data in your database?
