usually caused by something interfering with the ajax request and or response...  with your browser console open, try upgrading and see what the response is...

Yep.. Great advice!

It was a plugin "Rebel Mouse" that interrupted it. Disabled it and database updated with no problems. Strange but that same plugin is on another site running sp that updated with no problem.

Once again - thanks for the help. I learned another thing today.. idea

why one site and not another is a good question... probably dependent on what it is sending with the request and perhaps when - might not do it every page load perhaps.

But love the name 'Rebel Mouse'... whatever it is!

It's a WordPress inline frame embedder from RebelMouse.com http://www.docsplace.org/social-stream/

Basically whatever social network you give them access to (i used twitter) they compile all my tweets into a graphical social stream: https://www.rebelmouse.com/docsbbs/

Pretty neat - small seo benefit as some posts lead back to home. Sure is building RebelMouse.com a lot of back links!

To sign up a user simply signs in with a social network then provides their desired page name. I mostly use G+ but didn't trust it accessing my acct. I'm assuming they use api access to my twitter acct and receive notification and update whenever i tweet. It's for graphical content only. Text links will not be included in the stream.

I'm not that up in coding etc. But clued by the RebelMouse error at the bottom. However there is a slew of caution errors.
