I am unable to upload attachments in IE, all other browsers are working fine... Am running the latest version or WP and SP.

Well, it works for me... hate saying that.. 
which version of IE? I routinely test in IE 8 - 10...
the plupload library we use currently does have an issue in IE 10 with the add files button not working but as the uploader shows, there is a drag and drop section that works fine with IE 10... hopefully the plupload team will be releasing a fix soon - their next version has been in beta forever it seems...

Using IE 10 and even on this site the "add files" button doesn't open anything for me too pick a file... though dragging and dropping a file works fine...

which is exactly what I said... its an issue in the plupload js library we use... anxiously awaiting an updated version from them though its a major release increment...
