Hi I just become a member and intalled the plug-in, the 5.0 version. My main objective with the forum is that the members of my site can upload files, especially .pdf files. I really need that!! 

How can I do it? Can I upload .pdf files on the 5.0 version?

to upload pdf files, you will need the sp file uploader plugin... you can get that on our download page, the plugins download page...

once installed, configure permissions (allow which users you want to upload) and configure settings on forum - components - uploads
