Uploading a Powerpoint presentation

I uploaded a powerpoint file in my forum and it attaches, but it also shows a quicktime logo with a question mark. Is it trying to play the powerpoint presentation I made as a video? How can i post so that it doesn't show the quicktime logo with the question mark?

where did you allow uploads of .ppt files? on forum - components - uploads, it appears you allowed in the media section... hence the image... it should be allowed as a file... please take a look...
