Hi!

I used to be able to upload photos to the forum by using the "attachments" option and then by "add files".

Now i am not able to do so. Do you think you could help, please?

Thank you so much.

Possibly. If you tell me what 'Now I am not able to do so' actually means? I need a lot more detail than that...

Hi,

When i click on the "add files" option on the iphone or ipad, nothing happens.

When I do the same on the laptop, I am able to select the file from the explorer window it opens up.

I find being able to upload photos from my phone directly to be quite useful.

Can you help?

OK - just tried it here on this site using an iphone with no problem.

I see you actually said that you 'used to be able' to do this so the obvious question is  - what have you changed on your website? What have you updated or added in the way of WordPress theme or plugin?

Ok, when i deleted the plupload plugin version 3.1 and reinstalled the previous version 2.1.4, it works fine now...

So I shall try not to update it for now? I still don't know what's wrong...

Thanks for your replies and for your patience.

Is everything else you use up to date? WordPress for example? SP itself? The changes in the latest update to plupload are to support the new version out out by Moxie but I am unsure if some of that was to support newer editions of jQuery. So it would still be a conflict of some sort.

I believe everything I use is up to date, at least that's what the wordpress updates tells me... Except for the plupload now.

Ah... I wish I were as good at this as so many other people at this forum.

I will keep reading and learning but since it is working, should I leave it for now?

I would say it it works then use it but the day will come when the problem may need addressing. It it very hard to troubleshoot problems on a mobile phone because of the lack of good diagnostic tools...

are you using our combined js cache file?  forum - options - global settings... If so, might try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and clear the js cache file...  it should auto clear on plugin update, but worth a try...
