Support Forum
Hey there! I'm a newbie on this forum; just purchased my silver membership!
So I have this problem, but I have a feeling that it is a pretty easy fix. A few days ago, I downloaded this Donation Plugin for wordpress that creates user accounts. I made a test donation under my name and, as a result, it made a Wordpress and a Simple Press account under my name.
Now, I can't delete the Simple Press account! It's stuck there, and whenever I try to delete it, it says "The requested user does not exist."
Is there any way to delete it through spUsers? Apparently, the user still exists as ID=2.
Thanks!
can you elaborate? there are no simple press 'accounts'... they are simply wp users... are you saying you deleted the wp user? where are you getting that message?
are you running 5.4.1?

Yes, I deleted the wp user and I am running Simple Press 5.4.1. It no longer shows up in "User", but it still shows up in Simple Press.
When I turn on "spThisMember" under Data Inspector, it gives me this:
Inspect: spThisMember
stdClass Object ( [user_id] => 2 [display_name] => Robert LANE [posts] => 0 [user_url] => [admin] => 0 [avatar] => Array ( [uploaded] => ) [user_options] => Array ( [hidestatus] => 0 [timezone] => -8 [timezone_string] => America/Los_Angeles [editor] => 1 [namesync] => 1 [unreadposts] => 50 ) [lastvisit] => 2014-01-30 17:08:06 [user_registered] => 1969-12-31 08:00:00 )
did you happen to delete the user from wp before you had 5.4.1?
you can go into your db and delete the user from the sfmembers table... for user_id equal to the id you have for that user...
