Hi
I am new to this. Adam is the person who managed our forum is no longer with us.
I have Adam's login to Simple:Press which is how I came to be in this forum.
The problem is, when I login as wp-admin to our WP site, I can't access the forum because I don't have access. Here is the message I get...
"Contact one of the SP Admins listed below to see if they want to grant you SP admin access on the SP manage admins panel Adam"
Please help.

So if Adam gave you his credentials to this site - did he not - or can he not - give you his credentials to your own website so you can log in as him and then access the forum admin and promote yourself to a forum admin?
Failing that, you - as a WordPress admin - can edit Adam's user record and change his password. This would then allow you to log in as him and perform the upgrade to your own SP status,
