I have had a user ask how to upload from their computer when editing posts yet when I tried it did not work. When I go to edit a post as a user, it shows only the 'insert/edit image' tab and no 'upload attachments' button below this text box. Yet when you create a new topic and post the 'upload attachments' button is available. Am I missing something, is it auto enabled when you install SPV5 or did I disable this option in post editing?

No, currently the file uploader is not available when editing a post...  we have had several requests for it, so will be added in near future...

If you want to remove an attachment, you can do that via the forum tools on the post...

Just downloaded and uploaded to simple press 'subscriptions' plugin and after doing so, forum page will not load anything. Only a grey screen. After deactivating the plugin it runs as usual. Something not working?

Both watches and subscriptions do the same thing...

no they dont...

subscriptions get notifications (ie email) on every new post in a topic...

watches do not get any notifications... it just flags the topic as somethign you want to watch or check back on...  additionally, admins and moderators can set watches on topics for other admins and moderators as an indication of a topic they need to look at...
