I'm having a number of people emailing me that they can't log into our forums.
The funny thing is that I can log in using their username and password so I don't think it's their account. If there were an issue with the site, forums, or plugins then wouldn't everyone be unable to log in?
The problem though is that it's not just one person, it's a few people now.
I'm going to turn off all plugins for now just to rule that out but does anyone have any ideas?

Do you know what happens when they click on the login button in the forum? Does the login box open up or not? When they enter the info they cant log in? Maybe they can give you a bit more info.

I'm trying to find out now. One user is telling me right now that they get an 'incorrect password' notification. They attempt to reset password but that doesn't work for them. I reset pw manually and let them know the new pw and they still can't login although when I attempt to do so using their info from my machine I can log in.

users, registration and logging in are all wp functions... simple press has nothing to do with that... disabling plugins and maybe trying the default wp theme might be a decent approach...
any caching plugins? is so, it might be confusing things...
