Support Forum
I have this idea.
I want to incentivize my members to post more. (we just moved over from an old forum software to simple-press....getting loads of flak....:)....)
I was thinking, can I not use the Achievements plugin?
1-Set it up to activate or give them access to a form after X amount of posts.
2-That form will simply be a fill-in-the address sort of thing, so I can then mail them a free gift...(small booklet I wrote and some swag...)
Make sense?
How about this twist....
the Achievements will only count posts that get "Thanks" (you know, the Thank member plugin I believe) from other members or moderators....
meaning, only quality posts with proof and approval from other members (via Thanks button) will count....
make sense?
thanks

I guess the first thing to ask is does the WP Achievements plugin cater for your 1 and 2 items?
Not to sound like a four year old, which is about where Im at with this, the two items in question, is exactly what I'm asking....
can I do this?
I've not used that plugin yet. Is this a typical strategy for using it?
sorry about the confusion....R
Ah - but I do not know I am afraid. Don't forget the WP Achievements plugin is not one of ours. It is just a plugin that we have supported with an extension. The 'thanks' part is not in our extension but could, I would think, probably be added by us if needed. It is not a great plugin to extend to be honest
I have remembered, however, that I do recall someone posting on the forum suggesting that the achievements plugin had been abandoned. Perhaps it would be worth your while looking at the myCred plugin instead (also a WP plugin) to see of that does your 1 and 2. It already has some support in out extension for our thanks plugin.
