How can I embed videos from other sources?

Hey AquariumJunkiesCanada,
Facebook as far as I'm aware still make it very difficult to embed uploaded videos elsewhere if allow it at all. I've looked into this probably 2 or 3 times over the last year and it's always been the same story unfortunately.
As for other miscellaneous websites, where are you thinking? I know some websites offer embed links in the form of iframes - But allowing the use of iframes for users to create really does pose a security risk.

You can also just use the url of any site that utilises the oEmbed protocol and that WordPress supports. WordPress does publish a list of all the services that are supported in this way

iframes are a security risk.. if you allow your users to use iframes you can open yourself up to lots of exploits...
and with wp and oembed, its not even needed...
that said, if you understand and are willing to take the risks, there is a permission that you can give trusted users where they can post iframes...
