they work fine... go to forum - options - content settings and allow the shortcodes you want or all... keep in mind all users will be able to use the shortcode...

can you provide more details? which shortcodes? and maybe a screenshot of your shortcode enabling option? we have had no issue with shortcodes working...

but that is not allowing shortcodes??  you have it empty...  you need to list (comma separated) the shortcodes you want to allow to be used in a forum post... ie mp3-jplayer

That is not correct. I am not filter shortcodes so its allowing all shortcode. If I enable the filter and enter the specific short code to be allowed, I get the exact same result.

I need this to work, any other help would be appreciated.

well, as mentioned, we have had no issues with shortcode usage in the forum... so before we have to dig in specifically with this one plugin and what its doing, lets try one more thing...

got to forum - integration - page and permalink and try enabling the strict wp api option there... and see if that helps...

well, maybe something unique to that plugin...  will have to download it when we get a chance and test it since shortcodes have been universally working for users...  need to see if that plugin is doing something odd...

oh, btw, no permissions on that plugin to use the shortcode?  or any chance its only enabling itself in the admin??
