OK, obviously I'm being facetious!!!  I've just jumped in head first to this whole web development and have quickly found that you get what you pay for!  So far, I feel like I've gotten AMAZING help!  I don't have a problem paying for the help that I've gotten!  I've read through a lot of these topics and see them helping with issues that other plugins would simply say.... It's "XXXXXX's" problem.  I've seen it over and over....sarcastic and unhelpful responses in other forums (paid), but not here...at least not the ones I've read!

There is a point where the whole "free, open source" thing becomes a welfare entitlement mentality, isn't there?  Where the hard work and time involved in something like the code for this forum is ignored.  Where intellectual property rights are out the window and stealing because something's on the Internet is expected. 

It's all part of not respecting people's talent; whether it's the programmers of Simple:Press or the songwriter whose music is "shared" or the novelist who took three years to write their novel and the ebook is given away as though those three years and all that talent is something everyone has a right to just take.  But if you took the paycheck out of the pocket of the people who think everyone else's work should be "free" imagine the screaming you'd hear!

Makes me wonder when the talent out there is gonna get tired of being ripped off and stop creating.  Won't that make for a boring world?
