My users (who are not very tech aware) have said they couldnt find the “new topic button” when they have been on the forum.

I can see their struggle, it’s in small font and down the bottom of the screen in the forum.

Is there anyway of making this text alone bigger, in a button or changed to be up the top of the forums.

For example, I can see this forum has the “add topic” link at the top right side of the screen on here?  How can I change my forum so that it is in the same place?

Also, if I do change any styling of the forum in the “bare bones customiser” on my wordpress site, will this affect the content at all – and can it be changed easily back?
