So not sure what is happening if there is a script overlap or something. But after first posting a blog page with video media from youtube embedded into the post, only the text is being copied to the forum topic (as it is linked to blog posts) but no youtube video.

Are you using a video embedding plugin or using wordpress's Oembed feature?
Also your link shown just tells me my IP address so not sure what is going on there.

yes, as Brandon says, use the wp oembed feature... that is, just paste the url of the video into the post content...
if you really, want to embed the video directly, be sure to use the youtube object embedding and NOT the iframe method...
