Can I have a link to an example please?

It is a bit hard to tell and to explain. For some reason some (but not oddly all) of the double quotes on the page are getting converted to html encoded versions. The same is happening with dashes for example. Mostly this will be harmless but in the case of the edit history the data is being passed to a script function and as it is no longer bound by proper double quotes it is failing and causing an error.

It suggests that something - maybe in your theme or in a plugin - is runnign some extra filtering on post and page content. Are you aware of anything that might be doing this?

I realise it might be a mess... but is there any chance you could brieifly switch to the WP default theme and try it using that? Then switch right back of course.

So what about other plugins. Do you have any that effect the display of posts in ANY way. Like add components to posts, massage the content etc...?
