How can I do that?
I have one Forum Group, the Permission Set for Guest shows only "View Topics in Forum" but when I log out as any user and don't log back in, it asks me for an email to post as guest.
I definitely don't want that--only registered users can post, but anyone can see the content of the forum.
What do I need to make that happen?
Probably best to walk through our codex articles on controlling access... Take a look at: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ng-access/
and come on back if still having issues after that...

OK, I found that I didn't have the right permission set (Read Only Access instead of Limited Access)
Now that I've fixed that, I have a related permission issue which is how I can allow registered users to post without moderation on my behalf.
This link, referenced in multiple old posts: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ions-work/
is very broken (404), so it's of no help now. 🙁
This documentation page on permissions:
http://codex.simple-press.com/.....rmissions/
is empty, and equally unhelpful. 🙁
Can you please point me to the right set of documentation I need, or tell me the permissions I need to allow in order for registered users to post without moderation?
post moderation help on code is here: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ions-work/
and is working fine... please be sure you are logged into the codex (same credentials as here, but you must log in separately)...
but basically, in permissions, set yes to bypass post moderation and bypass post moderation once...
