Yes - that might be interesting.
if it comes down to it perhaps you would let us have a look at your admin to see if we can spot anything. But try the theme authors first just in case they have an idea...

Update from the theme authors: I tested the plugin (with default settings) with the theme (using custom menu) on my test server and I cannot replicate the behavior. So, it might be because of some customization you made.
I sent them my admin info and they are going to check it out and see if they find anything...

I am impressed. We so often here that theme authors never respond.
If you want us to do the same then we can. Just PM credentials to both myself and to 'Mr Papa'. Please include in the PM a link to your site, a link to this thread and brief reminder of the problem. And one of us will take a look for you. Oh - and irt would have to be an SP admin as well of course to look at your Sp settings.

This is from the theme authors...
"It is possible that the forum has some filter that tries to capture any home links in the registered navigation areas and it overwrites the link with their own "Forum" anchor text."

what about if you go to forum - options - general display settings and remove the page title completely?

You already suggested that earlier in the thread. The Forum – options – General Display Settings already has button checked to remove the page title.

sorry, when forum busy cannot always go back pages in a thread an recheck...
will look at the pm credentials this weekend - work a load right now...
might also be worth going to forum - integration - page and permlink and try setting the strict usage of the wp api option... if that does nothing, then for grins try playing with the display multiple and display in loop options...
