What does "Rebuild Default Profile Tabs"

I have recently migrated my website to another server and while everything else seems to be working, I don't seem to be able to edit users' profiles (or even my own).

When I try, I get this message:

"Profile form could not be found: [Account Settings]
You might try the forum - toolbox - housekeeping admin form and reset the profile tabs and menus and see if that helps."

So what happens if I press that button?  Am I likely to lose anything (or anyone)?

In the Rebuild ... Tabs section it recommends only doing this if advised by you guys.

What do you advise?

Thanks

The server migration has changed the path to the profile forms so you will need to reset them. It us harmless and necessary.

Thank you very much.  Worked a treat! And apologies for the missing verb at the end of the header.

Thanks all. This also answered my concern about what the reset/rebuild actually did and whether it would reset all the profiles (and customs fields) back to blank. I gather now it just rests the path after my server migration. Anyway, it has fixed the error.smile

yeah, shouldnt affect  custom data... just rebuilds the profile tabs and menus...  if you had disabled any of them, they likely would get re-enabled, but not something the average user does...
