Support Forum
I recently merged several forum categories into one, then changed the name, slug and Post by Email address for the combined category. Now when that category is selected the member list displays instead of the topic list for that category. All other categories display the topic list properly. Post by Email is adding new topics to the combined category, and if a new topic is selected from the New/Recently Updated Topics menu, the topic displays. But I can't get the topic list for that category to display. Any idea what could have caused this?
I am running WP 3.6.1, SP 5.3.3 and the latest versions of all my SP plugins.
combined forum category? is that a group or a forum you are referring to??
how is the 'category' selected?
do you have link to site with example?

The forum URL is: http://crescentcitycyclists.org/forum/
The forum category in question is a private forum so you would have to be logged in to see it. We only have one public forum (For Sale/Wanted) on the site, along with several private forums for club members. We used to have five different categories for general members and one for board members only. But members were complaining that it was too complicated and most of the categories were not being used very much.
So what I did was to use the Merge Forums command to combine five categories into one called Members Only. The destination for all the merges was the category called Country Rides, which had been the most popular category. After completing the merge, I renamed that category to Members Only, changed the slug to "members" and the Post by Email address to <members@crescentcitycyclists.org>.
BTW, I lguess I've been using the wrong term, when I say category, what I mean is forum. Sorry, didn't mean too confuse you.
please explain what you mean by category?? we do not have categories... in my original reply, I asked if you meant forums... combined five forums into one...

assuming you do mean forums... then you cannot have a forum called members... there is already a forum page using that url, the members list...
so just change it to something slighty different, like members forum...

okay, let us know if you have issues after changing it...
