We used the WP MU network and we had to make every member that creates a blog with the "editor" status. But only for their blog. The problem is that every time they create a blog, they become moderator in the Simple Press Forum.
You can see on this screenshot that editor are members, and not moderators, so why do they appear like this on the forum?
Do you have any idea why? I'm sorry to ask that many questions these days, but we have a hard time dealing with the problems we face! ^^

a bit confused as simple press stuff does not carry from main site to network site or between network sites... so not sure what you are saying... is this all on the main site?
but as to becoming members... couple things...
assume you have not set the moderator flag on the members usergroup? forum - usergroups - manage usergroups...
what are your settings for forum ranks? usergroup membership can happen their too depending on your settings...
