I don’t seem to have the ability to upload files. Â I can embed images and media, but I checked the help and it says the upload attachment button should be below the window (which I’m not seeing) *if* the moderator has granted you that ability.
So maybe I need to be granted that ability?
First question has to be – have you installed and activated the Simple:Press File Uploader (plupload) plugin?

I just installed and activated the file upload plugin, but I am confused about how it works. I thought that it would have a simple file upload button where my users could easily insert a picture from their computer, but when I installed it there was no such button.
The only thing that I found after installing it was at the bottom of the post, there is a button that says “attachments” and if I click on it, it shows all of the acceptable file types, etc. but I still don’t understand how to actually attach the file.
Maybe I have to change some settings in the plugin options, but I’m not sure.
I hope someone can help me! Thank you.
