Where is the changelog?

The plugin update page in WP tells me a new version of SP is available (5.5.4). It says to check the changelog for complete details, but there is no link and I can't find one on this site.

Where is the changelog?

And please make it easier to see changes in future releases. Thanks!

Roger

Hey Roger,

You can find the current changelog (and all previous changelogs) in the admin panel - see Forum > Toolbox > Change Log.

But that only shows the changes leading up to the currently installed version (5.5.3). I want to see the changelog for the next version (5.5.4). Since there's risk in upgrading I want a heads up to see what is different.

So did you not notice the select list of changelogs at the bottom of the panel?

Sorry - It did cross my mind after posting but have been away from the computer.

You can view the latest changelog by following the 'Bug Tracker' link in the top right of all pages here just under your login status.

I didn't see that at the bottom - thanks! And thanks for the link. It would be great if you could include a link to the changelog in the notification WP gives me for your updates.

No problem, I agree it would probably be useful to put a link somewhere more noticeable!

dont forget you can get a summary changelog in your wp admin for your site...  forum - toolbox - change log...  its a list of the tickets and titles...  for complete descriptions, you need to use the link Ike provided...

You know I thought we did - or at least I thought we used to. Perhaps I am mistaken or perhaps that functionality has been removed from the WordPress updater. I will check with my colleague who worked up the interface with the WP updater code.

No, not in the notification message... never been there...

but like most, if not all, wp plugins, on the wp update screen, there is a link for the release details... in the popup that shows up if you click that link, there is a changelog tab... so you can review the changelog before updating...
