I can't seem to figure out how to view user image libraries. In the old version there was a icon in the image embed popup that lead to the library. Now it is gone:
Furthermore, I don't see any options for embedding images (or even for copying their URLs to use the standard image embed button) in the Upload Attachment area. So, if auto-embedded is disabled, how do you do it manually?
Thanks for your help!
You need to install and activate the SP Uploader plugin to get uploading of images and files.
Browsing through current folders is a bit more of a problem. The old browser and method was pretty much universally hated and was also found to be a bit of a security risk. So it has been removed. We hope to replace the browsing functionality in some way very soon.

Okay, that's fine -- I wasn't much of a fan either.
But what about my second question?

If you use the upload plugin, it is very simple to upload. I love that.
However, the only way I can figure out how to embed an image after it has been uploaded is to have the "auto embed" setting enabled so that the image automatically embeds after being uploaded.
But if this setting is disabled, then I don't see a way to embed the image:
I can't click on the title in the upload area to embed or even to grab the new URL (so I can use the standard TinyMCE area).
I must be missing something, right?
Sorry - I thought you were referring to the actual auto-embed feature (oEmbed). Something different.
The url to each uploaded image is available in the link in the 'attachment' box on the post.
And I appreciate you might want to look at old images and need the browser. We are getting there with something as soon as we can.

So what you're saying is that, if I want to manually embed an uploaded image, I have to upload it using the plugin, submit the post, copy the url for the attachment box, edit the post, and then use the regular TinyMCE button to embed the image?
Because the attachment box doesn't show up until the post is published, right?
