When I go form home to forum in the top navigation bar, during that page transition my whole screen goes white for a split second, this also happens when clicking on forum topic and clicking to visit forums in other groups and only happens inside the forum. When I switch from the forum page to another WP page this doesn't happen.
Any ideas?

Hard to say without seeing it and looking at how it loads.
It sounds like it may be trying to load something and then when not found it loads everything else. If you can check it in your browser console it may show what is happening.

cant really tell anything from the video, would have to see site in action and check the http headers being sent... and see if some sort of redirect is involved there... of course, the forum itself doesnt have a white screen...

I assume you only pasted the first handful as their would be a whole bunch more than that... 
and where in that sequence is the 'white screen'?
and is the first one the actual page you are trying to load?
any idea why its also trying to load your home page?
