Hi Guys
really sorry but I just cant manage to work this forum plugin Simple Press. http://pledgingforchange.com/forum
I've spent too much time on it now and I've still not got it right so I think I am going to have to un-install and find something else for my site. I think its best to find something else sooner rather than later when I have even more posts being made. At the moment you cannot even view the posts unless you are logged in which isn't what I am looking for.
I've simply got so tired of trying to work it all out... and I really do need something that is "simple" for me.
I think I was attracted to your plugin because it was called "Simple Press" ????? But I am finding it very complicated.
If I just click to un-install will all the files be removed or will my host need to go into cpanel and clear out some files that might get left behind perhaps?

yes, it will completely remove itself (though we have ticket we incorporated into upcoming 5.3 where 2 files were not removed)...
to uninstall, check the box on forum - toolbox - uninstall... then deactivate the plugin and the data will be removed...
of course, you still need to delete the plugin files in wp-content/plugins with ftp, file manager or wp plugins remove function...
but not sure we have seen anything here about your troubles... guests are a usergroup... they can view posts if you give them permission to... see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ng-access/
