Hello,
So I have have my wordpress configured in Multiuser and I really hate the registration process which just asks for username in lower case and email after which it sends the password to user.
Is there a way to change this?
I like both sites: http://www.shadowville.com/ and http://www.iamstaggered.com/ where they have customized the registration and login process, would really love to know how they have done it and which plugins have been used. Also will that work with MU?

Shadowville is using the 'Register Plus' WP plugin which I believe you can find in the WP plugins repository. Whether this is compatible with WPMS or not I am afraid I can not say but it may tell you on their plugin page.
Another one we used to hear mentioned quite often - although not so much recently - is 'Sabre', which might also be worth your while to investigate.

Looks like Register Plus is not accessible anymore, but Sabre is and looks like it works in MU so gonna try it and see 🙂
The login/registration on top of Shadowbille's site, was it a plugin or just straight code? And if so any idea where I can find it?

okay, good luck! let us know hot goes... btw, there is a register plus redux (http://wordpress.org/extend/pl.....lus-redux/) which picked up the old plugin...
you could also try theme my login which does similar things...
