My apologies if this is already addressed. I didn’t see it in my search and I’m a bit desperate. I may have to delete my forum and go to BBPress if I can’t resolve this.
Since I installed and enabled my SimplePress forum, the posts on my blog appear to be duplicated on the post page.
I’ve tried uninstalling JetPack, but this isn’t a long-term solution for me. I need JetPack.
Please help!
hang on… your blog posts on what? The index.php page? Is that what you mean? And this is connected to Simple:Press? Can I see this?

I don’t really understand your question, but if you go to my blog and look at some of the posts you’ll see what I mean immediately.
I disabled or uninstalled JetPack – because of the solution I found – and I still have the two post problem. I can’t go without JetPack – it doesn’t look like shortcodes work, I can’t use CustomCSS, and I want Publicize back.

are you talking about the sharaholic plugin plastering its share links everywhere and often??
I looked at many forum posts and dont see any duplicate content (other than shareaholic)…
on the referenced link, what is duplicated? Due you mean the theme outputting the same post in multiple featured areas??? not sure how the forum would be involved in that…

I see the posts being duplicated on the pages. For example here. http://problem-with-post-edit-buttonistory-behind-game-of-thrones.com/2013/06/problem-with-post-edit-buttoneworthmoor/ Scroll down past the first one and you will see another one.
I would recommend you leave everything as is and then deactivate Simple:Press (not uninstall). You won’t lose any of your SP settings or posts. Then check… does that page now only have the content once? If it still has it twice then you can reactivate SP and look for the problem elsewhere. If it only shows the post once then let us know.
you could also go to forum – integration – page and permalink and try setting the strict wp api option to on… might help if something else is doing something funky with content filters – though it normally helps for forum display…
Actually, I’m sorry I blamed you Simple:Press. It turns out it was a plugin that I’d installed. Touch wood. Everything appears to be working fine. Now if I could just get people to participate in my forum! lol. sigh.
