Some of our member complains about problems to write with portable devices like ipad or mobiles.
For example, I can login, so it recognize the indetification fields as text fields. But then if you want to reply or create new topics the virtual keyboard do not appear.
I know that trying to use a mobile phone can be clunky – hopefully will be much better with our mobile theme – but I have never personally had the keypad not pop up nor have we had any other reports of that. Are you 100% sure this is an iPad we are talking about?
100% that it was an ipad
But as you say I’ve seen that you are working on the mobile version so once it’s complete I’ll use it and maybe this problem disappears.

I think that might be a good idea. And if it does not resolve it then we may need to look at your site from a scripting point of view to see if we can spot any conflicts.
When do you think it will be finished? As I have until 6th octuber registration, Will I be on time to use it and in case of problem have the chance to ask for support?
Not sure it will solve anything for you if its a local conflict… the buttons work fine on ipad for many, many users… Its just not an optimal display since you have to constantly move the window around to see the page…
that said, wont hurt to try…
if all goes well, we will be releasing a beta of the mobile theme unified this weekend… hopefully, the beta will be rather short, but depends on how things go…
