Yoast SEO Meta Description Text Upped To 320 Characters

Merry Christmas Everyone! 
Noticed this yesterday when updating Yoast SEO plugin.
- Changed the meta description maximum recommended length from 156 to 320 characters.
Been noticing an increase of characters in Google search results recently.

I remember upping the characters on my forum to 220 a while back using this method we described. It produced a nice increase in the forum seo. I had upgraded sp and forgot to re-edit the file, seo for forum posts dropped. Thinking if Yoast went to 320 char he knows what Google is indexing.
Possibly make the character setting operator defined in the SEO plugin might be helpful.
