I am currently running an eCommerce store on WordPress with YOAST SEO plugin activated.
I want to install Simplepress 5 forum but before I do that I need some clarifications.
- What if any configurations do I need to set in YOAST and / or SimplePress 5 for them to work together. (YOAST is currently configured for my environment)
- Any advice to prevent issues with google
- Any advice re cache plugins
- Any other advice to help me out with a smooth installation / setup on my current site would be appreciated

We have lots of users also using the Yoast SEO plugin but you do need to turn off (or is it on?) the option to do with 'ugly permalinks' - whatever that means!
Unsure what issues with Google you are referring to unless you mean that they are a power-hungry organisation intent on dominating the internet. 🙂 But I am not aware of any problems.
There is no reason not to use a cache plugin with SP but the forum page itself can not be cached as it is dynamically created and caching makes no sense. So you do need to exclude it from the cached pages.
I would check out the system requirements (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....uirements/) and the install (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....l/install/) in the V5 codex.
