After installing and activating blog link, forum is no longer accessible

Solved!

Not sure why the first installation didn't work, but apparently when I deactivated it, it killed the option for the allowed users group to create the link from the blog to the discussion forum.  After going through each one again after a new install, selecting the radio button on the permissions, saving and then going back to the plug-in, the forum option is showing up.

Good deal. I was just about to go into a few tests to see if I could duplicate. It does make sense that checking to see if a permission to create a link a blog post is tied in with the ability to actually create a WP post.

I will create a tracking ticket on this so it can be double checked.
