I installed the TinyMCE plugin and made it the default editor under Options > Global Settings. But it looks like current users need to manually change their choice of editor under Profile > Options > Edit Posting Options, otherwise they still have the Plain Textarea editor.
Is there a way to make this change for all users, and save them the trouble of doing it themselves?

no, not really... but as admin, you can go to their profile and make the changes... if you have lots of users, obviously not a good solution... but unfortunately, not a simple db query or anything to change - would require a custom script...

Oh well. We've got 1600 members, so I guess I'll let them make that change themselves.
