We are unaware of any 'hot fixes' needed and certainly this is a unique report I believe.
Have you updated absolutely everything that is needed? I.e., not just WordPress, Simple:Press and all Simple:Press plugins but also any other WordPress plugins and theme?
Do you have any form of JavaScript caching or one of those awful plugins that try and join all of the scripts together active?
Are you using the Simple:Press combined Javascript option (Options > Global) and if so have you tried with things turned off?
Have you added any new WP plugin components or turned any new options on in your Wp theme?
Are you able to look at the browser console to look for Script errors as they happen?

lets leave that over there... and deal with one item per topic... easier to follow... first step is to get everything up to date...
