Ban plugin

Hello guys,

I am using the ban plugin and today i noticed that something has changed. No clue if its an error or if the plugin still working as intended.

As always i do add one ban per line:

ip-adress

ip-adress

However after adding one more ip-ban today, it now looks like this:

ip-address\\\\ip-address\\\\ip-address

Every time i add a ban, the plugin adds more back slashes between the ip-addresses, and also some times a "n".

Is this OK?

No - that's not OK. I will open up a bug report.

Did you say this is a recently started problem?

I am not sure Andy.

This is the first time in several month that i am adding a new ip-ban.

Would you like me to email you a screenshot of it?

P.S.

By the way, hello Ike. Nice to see one more staff at SP.

It's OK - I can see it happening in my test site here. Not sure what is going on yet or why it has apparently started. It might be down to one of the changes that WP made to formatting filters although we thought we had catered for all of them. We will check and I have opened a report.

To get you around it might you be able to achieve what you need to by using the Warnings/Suspensions/Bans plugin instead?

OK, i will disable the ban plugin and wait for an update.

Warnings/Suspensions/Bans plugin do not give me the option to ban ip-addresses, but it will have to serve meantime.

Thanks Andy!
