You'll feel suddenly daft but php 5.2.14 is 10 builds newer than 5.2.4... that is a 4 and a 14 - not a 1.4 🙂
OK could you look at a piece of code for me cos this is very weird?
In the blog linking plugin - /libary/sp-linking-comments/php file
In the function sp_create_post_from_comment() down at line 83
it should say:
$newpost['postcontent'] = sp_esc_str($newpost['postcontent']);
Does it?

Yes I do feel a little silly (lol) - I just updated my previous post - I thought it said 5.2.1.4 - new glasses are being ordered right now.

Worrying. I have reopened the bug report for rework. I need to replicate the problem which is what I am having trouble doing but I will hack away at it!

There is a yet one issue in this blog linking plugin.
Error log gives me the next error:

ozgirl57: I don't know if you updated the linking plugin via the updater or through svn but there are some further changes for this in the svn repository that I only made yesterday. It would be great iof you could try them out. Er... maybe save off a copy of the plugin first just in case... 
If you don't want to do that now then they will be available via the updater soon of course.
