Same problem here, images dont show either, but I dont get any "Image cannot be found" message.
If I copy all the content from the original WP post media window and paste it into a new SP post, images do show up properly.

@Petra - Let us know what you find out. Might be some help for others.
@Massimo - You have the forum set so guests cannot read posts. So can't see the post you link to on the forum. If you change to allow guests to read then one of us could look at the forum post and see if there is anything obvious that doesn't look correct.
I don't even see any text or excerpt of the post in the forum.
Check your settings for blog linking (forum Admin > Components - Blog Linking) Make sure Entire post content is turned on and that you have "Use linking on post type" turned on for page, etc.
Make a test post in WP and see if that takes care of it.. If not you may have to temporarily deactivate that sharing plugin and test again.
See if either two tests work.
From what I see your forum settings look correct. You are running several different WordPress plugins that affect links and image urls.
I would start with deactivating them and testing to see if one is affecting the blog link image. Pretty Links, the SEO plugin that changes URLs, the one that adds SEO title info to the image HTML, etc that you have installed may be jumping in and changing the image info and SP isn't aware of it.
ISSUE UPDATE:
1. Deactiveted all suspicious plugins as indicated : negative. So I reactiveted one at the time. No difference.
2. Instead of going to WP - all articles - edit article - connect to forum (as I was usually doing with negative results) I went publishing a fresh article with fresh imported images and that did the magic.
3. Funny thing is that when I go in the forum and edit (in the forum edit post window) one of the old messages that didnt show images (those published updating existing WP articles), the original images are all there ! But when I then save the edited message (always in the forum edit post window) the images dont show up again.
4. Another test: from the WP "edit article" window, if I copy everything (text and images) then I past it as it is in the forum inside the edit post window of the same connected one, in this way it works and shows all images again.
ALL THIS IS HAPPENING ONLY IF LOGGED IN AS ADMIN.
If not, articles to user randomly show but most of the times don't.

you will have to get in through admin login cause the site is in maintainance mode.
Brandon has the login keys.
Please let me know what to do.
Thanks again
Your site appears to be in maintenance mode at the moment...
Can you do this for me please?
- Make a blog post that includes an image and link it to a forum so it creates a new topic. Do not edit the blog post and send me the url to the blog post page where it appears.
- Again without editing the forum post - send me the link to the new topic it created.
- If possible - look at the database - 'sfposts' table and look at the 'post_content' column of the last post in the table. Copy the content of the entry and send me that as well.
Of course I will need to be able to view the blog and forum post...
