When I clicked on the topic link in the blog, I end up redirected back to the blog post, although the link itself is correct. If I copy the link, it does the same thing. This happened with an additional post I created.

I then went into the Simple:Press Administration > Components > Blog Post Linking

Clicked on Point blog post to linked topic but didn't save as I wanted to check something.

I went to the to the forum, opened the topic, copied and pasted the link, and I ended up in the forum.

Verified the link was exactly the same.

When I then retried the blog post topic link it worked.

When I logged in as another user and tried everything worked as it should.

Very strange.

Now everything is working.

Again I didn't change the setting in the Blog Post Linking, it still says Blog post and linked topic have their own canonical URL. I just mention that I did click on the Point blog post to linked topic, as I don't really understand why it started working.

I'm only sharing this because it was odd, and I'm not sure if others might be having this problem, nor why it basically fixed itself. I'll also mention that it happened late last night, and I was too tired to mess with it, so I stopped working and picked it back up this morning. It was still happening. I then created a new blog/topic and the same thing happened. I then went through the above steps.

If it happens again, I'll let you know. However it's most likely just one of those wiggy things
