 Hi Team !

I have a problem with your Buddypress Plugin !

I download your plugin from the download page, i import the plugin by the simple:press admin panel in the tab : PLUGIN > DOWNLOAD PLUGIN

The installation is ok, but when i active the plugin, i have an internal servor error when i try to log me on the website!!!

Do you know how can i fix this bug, or if i did something wrong?

Thx in advance,

Rods

I just check your link,

So i check the name folder in sp-resources/forum-plugins, this is the good one (buddypress),

I try to install the plugin manually by FTP, and by the Simple:Press plugin uploader, and i have the same error !

And i try to install 2 other plugin (tinymce-richtext and Template Tags and Widgets) and they work perfectly !

Please Helllppp :)

Hey Eric,

Are you getting anything explaining the error in the server error log?

Also, are you running any caching plugins?

Might also be worth seeing if you are getting any errors in the console on the page when you try and install.

just to be sure, you uploaded this as a simple press plugin and not a wp plugin, right?

one other time, we had an issue with activation order... might read this post and try it:  https://simple-press.com/suppo.....2/#p144667

though it was a memory error, not internal...

Hello Mr. Papa and thank for your answer !! :)

I found this in the log of the server :

(104)Connection reset by peer: FastCGI: comm with server "URL/wp-admin/plugins.php" aborted: read failed, referer: URL/wp-admin/plugins.php
[error] [client IP] [host URL] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "URL/wp-admin/plugins.php", referer: URL/plugins.php
[error] [client IP] [host URL] FastCGI: An error happend on Fastcgi processing, fallback to CGI, referer: URL/wp-admin/plugins.php

I use those plugins :

- Buddypress

- BP Registration Options

- Collapse-O-Matic

- Contact Form 7

- HTML javascript Adder

- Simple:Press ;)

- Tab Slide

- Teamspeak3 webviewer for Wordpress

And yes don't worry i'am not a big noob, and i didn't try to install your buddypress plugin like a WP plugin ;)

I try doing like in your link (desactivate WP buddypress plugin, then active your, and then reactivate WP buddypress plugin) but i have the error again !

Do you know what happens? :)

Thx in advance

No, afraid not at the moment... this is a popular plugin working well for users...  not sure if the error is of any use... it seems to be the wp plugins page which is not where you are having an issue...

unfortunately, its an internal server error, so it does not give us anything to go on really...

but re-reading your first post, you have no issue activating our bp plugin?  correct?  and the site works fine until you (anyone?) logs in?  where are you logging in from?  odd, because simple press as a whole, has nothing to do with the actual log in process (except for displaying a standard wp login form in the forum header)...

I see you are running a buddypress add on plugin, no?  can you try disabling that to see if any interaction?  in fact, perhaps disable all other plugins except buddypress...  just trying to get feel for environment...

I succeed to activate your SP BP plugin when WP buddypress plugin is desactivate. This is the only way to active it. But as soon as i reactivate WP buddypress plugin, the internal servor error come back !

i just try to desactivate ALL my WP plugin, then install and activate SP BD plugin. it works, then i reactivate all plugins one by one, and check each time if the website working. No problem with all other plugin, the only who make the error is WP Buddypress plugin !

And by the way sorry for my bad english, i try to do my best :)
