All they told me was that the plugin is calling too much memory. I’m so bummed. I’ve been waiting for this plugin to come out for a very long time.

well, dont give up just yet! it is in beta after all… just have to figure out how to recreate or understand…
you tried it with all other wp plugins and bp plugins deactivated? so just wp, bp and sp?
How do I synch the BuddyPress profile fields to the Simple:Press profiles? In other words, make sure both profiles share all the same fields. As it is, the fields in both profiles are different which can lead to MUCH confusion with the end-user.
These are my BuddyPress profile fields http://tattoosailorsonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/4-30-2013-8-27-39-PM3.jpg
and these are my Simple:Press fields http://tattoosailorsonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/4-30-2013-8-26-39-PM.jpg
Is there a way to do this, currently, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Why would you want to synch them and manage in two places?
part of this plugin is to move the forum profile fields to the buddypress profile form… then you redirect the forum profile to the buddypress profile… and you have just one…

That is correct. Just wp, bp and sp.
Jamie, another mystery as I dont see that… I dont even know what buddypress does with follow up comments – certainly we dont have any code that can (or should) be affecting that… I will play around with those comments and see if I can figure out what is going on and/or duplicate it…
its a shame that buddypress doesnt deal with time properly… for a social network plugin, wonder why they just ignored the whole user timezone issue… your in a lucky situation where everyone is in the same timezone, but that’s the exception not the rule…
Our website link: http://ucgym.com , if you want to check it out.
But the interesting part is what with a previous version of buddypress plugin for SP, BuddyPress posts were working fine. Time problem was just with SP forum updates. Maybe you should check the things you have change since then.
On Apr 18, 2013 3:11 am (as I can see from my post here) we had a problem with Forum posts time on Activity page.
I am not sure which version of buddypress plugin for SP, was available then.
The only change was on the timestamp we pass to buddypress when creating our activity… it was adjusted to take out the user timezone offset simple press uses and force it to the server timezone (will be wrong for anyone not in the server timezone, but that is how BP rolls)…
are you now saying ALL buddypress activity is wrong time? earlier you were indicating it was comment replies to simple press activity…
still need to look into when I get a chance… but cannot duplicate on bp activity, that is for sure, just need to test more on replies to sp activity…
version 0.96 now available…
hopefully, this resolve the buddypress time issues that some users were seeing…
feedback appreciated!
HELP!!!!!!! version 0.96 made my whole website down : http://ucgym.com/ I am in panic!!!!

look at the name… you have buddypress1 as the directory… should just be buddypress…
I was wandering about that. When I downloaded the folder from here , the name was buddypress1. I tried a few times and it still give me buddypress1, so I thought it is should be buddypress1.
What can I do now?

I don’t think I was understanding how it works, properly. I do have one issue that just appeared from nowhere, though.
Whenever I try to view a profile from the Simple:Press forum, it doesn’t find anything because it goes here
tattoosailorsonline.com/members/Capt.GrumpyPants/profile/edit/
when it should be going here:
tattoosailorsonline.com/members/capt-grumpypants/profile/edit
Possibly this is just a problem with this particular profile, but it worked previously and the only change I have made is adding the Template Tags and Widgets plugin. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Everything back to normal!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEE!
I had to rename the plugin in my FTP. Then I was able to access the website and reinstall the plugin.
Time on activity page seams to be fine now!

Tried it and it still doesn’t work. Still gives the Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 523800 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/vapersplace.com/problem-with-post-edit-buttonttpdocs/wp-includes/cache.php on line 113 message
Jamie, good to hear!
Kevin, nothing changed in the plugin from your perspective… still no clue why you are getting such memory usage… as I said, it runs fine with wp, bp and sp in 32M… too bad your host wont isolate the problem further for you ( must be shared hosting
)
interesting that its running out of memory in the wp cache stuff – we dont even use that… are you running a caching plugin for wp? can you clear the caches?
if you want to send me a temp admin account with sp admin caps, I can try to look around, but not sure I can see anything – its really at the server level…
