wow. a hosting company that is zero help - not surprised...  only they can dig into the specifics of php script running out of memory...  I dont have the kind of access to the server needed...  and I know most hosting companies can do that - if they want...

since its working fine for all beta users but you and Carlos, it indicates its something in local configuration...  not saying wrong, but something unique...  I dont have any trouble with the plugin in 32MB of php memory...

not sure of a path forward here for you...

and this doesnt mean we cannot consider going the other direction too... but in the initial release, the option will be to combine the profiles on the bp side...

No worries.  I completely understand given that information.  I think with a little effort on my part (for once, right?) it will work just fine as it exists.  I haven't had any issues with it's functionality as desgined, nor problems with using it and a number of Simple:Press plugins.

Thanks!

sounds good.  like I said, we can consider it for future...

primary work on your part is simply going to forum - profiles - profile options and redirecting sp profile to bp...  now, not 100% of the sp stuff is copied over, so if something critical is missing, you may need both...

OK.  Still liking the way this works and have gotten just about everything set up.  One question, though.  As of 5.2.3 I thought there you could use the TinyMCE plugin to allow an editor for the profile signatures.  I am running SP core 5.2.6 and have installed the TinyMCE plugin for SP.  Could the problem be that I am using BP profiles and that is why there is no editor for the profile signatures?

same thing I did when I came to that conclusion...  especially after the all the work it took to get it working on ours (lol more than the entire profile design and implementation)...

Tried 0.97 and it still crashes my site when I activate it :( Hopefully someone figures out why this happens and it gets fixed.

yeah, unfortunately, nothing overtly for your issue which is still not understood - and lacking data from the host, may not be...
