I listed that ticket in this topic... and its been closed... up to plugins to handle the change in escaping... in this case, it only affects the BuddyPress plugin... I should be uploading a new integration plugin update soon that should generally resolve it...

Okay, I have attached version 0.99 of the buddypress integration plugin for testing... Should fix the issue seen with WP 3.6 using this...
Please note, it will only fix it for new posts/activity...
Please verify it works for me and let me know...

I'm getting this error when I try the buddypress plugin:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 523800 bytes) in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/mycoinc1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/content/sp-common-view-functions.php on line 21
Please read through this topic for fix. It's related to by our avatar settings - or at least couple of other were.

It works! Thanks for the fix.
Heh, I tried it, but it blew up when I activated it. Not only did the forums disappear, but my admin bar and the window of my dashboard went blank, for all tabs.
Deleted it through ftp. I think I'll wait 'till the avatar thingy is fixed... assuming that's the issue? But I'm really looking forward to this since my site is BP dependent. I'm simply too much of a noob and too slow to spend a ton of time trying to make it work right now.
opsss...
installed 0.99

WordPress has placed that new updated plugin into a new folder called 'buddypress1'. It tends to do this when you update a plugin more than once in any given month. It is a bit flaky! You need to remove the old 'buddypress' plugin folder and rename the new one to get rid of the '1' on the end.
