When you say ‘still’, have you already opened a support topic on this?
And please try and explain things in a little more detail where possible, have you got polls enabled for the forum you are trying to use them in? For this see manage groups and forums > edit forum, then at the bottom ‘enable polls for this forum’. In doing this make sure you are editing a forum not a group, as you can’t enable polls for a whole group.
As I said – please try and be more specific.

what version of sp and polls plugin? on forum – integration – page and permalink, what do you have for the integration options and theme display options? screenshot would be best…
So to add to earlier questions, are you trying to post a poll when creating a new topic? Or are you trying to post a poll when replying? There is an option which controls this – see from admin Polls > Options > Restrict new poll creation to new topics.
Also, where exactly are you seeing the message ‘polls only allowed in forum’ ?
… and the exact wording of the message would help me as that text doesn’t seem to appear anywhere in the code as such…

No – that doesn’t happen to me, I am trying to help you by finding the bit of code in question which is why i asked what exactly is the message you get because I can’t find it. There is no text message like the one you quoted which is why I need the exact wording.
No – that doesn’t show up anywhere in our codebase either I am afraid. Let’s say that that exact string of text is not an SP message. I am still looking
Is it this:
‘A Simple Press Poll can only appear in a forum post’
Which I guess means the same but it actually nothing like your text..
And is this using a shortcode somewhere?
