I am not seeing the captcha from simplepress but i see a working captcha if i use SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam plugin instead. Means SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam has compatible hook with buddypress or my theme.

Okay, thanks. Yes we don't have any bp specific hooks just standard wp hooks. Will look at your earlier post this afternoon when I can get to a computer and see if I can give you some code to try to. Problem will be you only gave me the hooks to display the will need the one when it's saved too.

I am ok with using SI CAPTCHA but if you have some code for me to try and see. I see if it works and repost the solution here.

well, as I mentioned in post #12, I was awaiting further information from you...  you posted the hook that could be used to display our captcha, but needed the hook when BP saves that form...

Afraid I dont know what SI Captcha is...

things play nicer together when standard wp hooks are used...

okay, will see if I can find some time today to look at their plugin and see what special is done for buddypress... frustrating that dont just use the standard WP hooks and doing something nonstandard...  keeps it from playing nice with other wp plugins... :(

Banana, to be clear here, you are talking about a captcha form on the wp registration page, right? are you using standard wp or multisite?   because for standard wp registration, si captcha seems to use the wp hooks...

i am using multi-site with buddypress. I tried a few other captcha plugins and only si captcha seems to work on my buddypress.

ah, so multisite too...  so are we talking the main site signup page? or a registration page on one of the network sites?

Yeah it's multisite+buddypress and it's the main site signup page. I am starting to dislike buddypress.. I could have just installed multisite with some user's features plugins. Could be something else in between .. i am not sure.
