Up graded to 5.0 what a great concept using plugins, makes the forum load quicker.Guess you are busy replying to questions already posted as I do on my forum. However I could not find an answer-hence this post
How do I stop my members seeing that I have edited their post-managed to on 4.5 but just can not find the place I need to change this-not sure if it is the theme to edit-Anyway when you can please give me some advice-Thank you
I assume you mean you would like to remove the edit information button and popup yes?
Is so then you need to remove it from the spTopicView.php template in your Sp theme. if you take a look through the template you should find it easily enough.
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

Will do-Just a very busy forum I have on my blog, really fantastic,as you know takes time replying to everyone-great fun tho.
Should you want to show my forum you are welcome, hope it shows others how great your Simple-press plugin really is-Hope people donate like me as feel Simple-Press beats all the other Wordpress forum plugins and I have tried a lot-Take care
My pleasure to help in anyway-Hard to believe a simple hobby of mine has gone sought of viral-the main thing that changed everything was incorporating your Simple-Press forum plugin-I feel Google just loves the fact people stay on my blog longer and fresh content every day-Thank you!
