I’ve done the upgrade. I didn’t lose my work and now the editor is working.
Thank you for help me.

I dont think you have the latest tinymce version… make sure its 2.0.1… smiley update was pushed out couple days ago…not sure what you are asking about re sidebar… if you want to remove the sidebar, that is a function of your wp theme… if you edit the page, you can likely select a full width page template…
Why you don’t think I have the latest tinymce version?
If I say something, it’s true.
In the other Topic… your colleague “didn’t think” I read the documentation.
Why this behaviour?
Anyway, I tried deactivating all the wordpress and SP plugins but Rich Text. Didn’t work.
Tried Activating Twenty eleven instead of my current theme (Serpent)
I don’t know if it’s something in the Browser / Server Cache (I’ on Wpengine),
The only thing I can do is giving you a link

Wow, why this behavior? Good question that I would ask you…
My statement that I didn’t think you were running tinymce 2.0.1 was as stated. That version contained a fix for the smiley issue as reported by folks here. The fix has also been confirmed by many users. So if you are still having smiley issue with 2.0.1 then it’s a new, unique report and we will need more info.

Problem solved going back to 1.2
I am having the same problem with TinyMCE since the upgrades. My forum is at 5.2, WordPress is at the latest version and TinyMCE is at version 2.0.1.
I had an email from a member who said they couldn’t leave a reply. I’ve confirmed this. When I hit reply the reply box appears but you just can’t type anything into it. I am using Firefox and it doesn’t work and the member who emailed used both Chrome and IE and nothing.
When I deactivate TinyMCE I am able to leave a reply but as soon as I activate it again I can’t enter any text in the reply box.
I have deleted the plugin and installed it again but still not working.
Please PM credentials to both myself and to ‘Mr Papa’. Please include in the PM a link to your site, a link to this thread and brief reminder of the problem. And one of us will take a look for you.
Paula, looks like the tinymce editor is having some issues with additional tinymce addon plugins that you are running… namely something called ultimate tinymce? and maybe easy image but that could be part of other…
do you know if those additional plugins were designed to work with the wp tinymce editor when used in places other than the wp add/edit post admin panel? wp only recently added the api for reusing the tinymce editor elsewhere…
is this wp 3.5? or older version?
and latest version of ultimate tinymce? wp 3.5 and ultimate 3.8? might be worth reading some of these for wp 3.5 issues and fixes…
