Being away for a couple of days, I did not follow up this one.

Sometimes,  the simple actions are too far away from your thoughts! First thing I did is downloading the latest version of the table plugin, replaced it in the sp directory and guess what? It worked like a charm.

There must have been a kind of down/upload error because I could not see that the tinyMCE guys had a new version.

Thanks a lot again for your time and support.

After all, I have learned how to use two new filters in case I will need it again!

Hi, it's me again.

After having successfully installed the plugin, I am unable to switch the language of the table plugin to German.

I have downloaded the official German language pack, extracted the language file and copied it to the directory of the plugin called 'langs', the English file 'en_dlg.js' is already in there.

How to activate the language properly?  It comes up with parameter names instead of the translation as shown in the attachments.tiny_table.pngImage Enlargertiny_table_2.pngImage Enlarger

have you set the german language as german for tinymce in general?  sorry, in email and cannot see the images...

what is the german file name?  probably should be de.js...  or at least the same as the base tinymce german tranlsation, I would think...

Yes, the language is generally set to German in the admin settings.

The German file name - as downloaded from Moxiecode - is 'de_dlg.js'. This is quite the same like the English file name ('en_dlg.js'). I think the file name is correct. But will give it a try.

Sorry for bumping this!

Hi Andy,

hope you had a nice holiday!

I would be more than happy, if you could spare some time to look on the above - maybe you have some idea how to solve it!

It looks and sounds to me like you did everything correctly.

So firstly I would check the German language .js file for the plugin to make sure if is bona-fide. We have known instances where the language files provided by Moxie have typos in them for example.

Check all of the entries are there as shown on the dialog and that the case is the same as these ARE case sensitive.

If all is well then also try emptying your browser cache to see if that is all the problem is.

I tried everything as proposed and more - compared word by word and with the English file, emptied cache - it did not work, so far.

I also tried a language file which is proven to work with tinyMCE advanced and placed it into the questionable language directory - no success. It is like the file is not recognized at all. If I remove it completely and switch to 'de' it is showing the same picture as being present in the directory. The item css class is translated correctly but this is part of the basic tinyMCE lang file not part of the table lang file. This is kind of strange because afaik there is only one tinymce.init routine - not a separate one for plugins.

Do you still have another idea what  the reason behind could be?

Edit: Arrggh! I tried the French file from the same source and it worked immediately - compared it with the German file and cannot find any difference in parameter names. It might be better to ask the tinymce guys - it seems to be their issue!

But why does it work in tinymce advanced?

This is getting curious!

I have installed the table plugin and German language file on my development site and I am afraid the translations work as expected! I am afraid I have no explanation for that!

My problem is that I don't seem to be able to get the second toolbar to show up! And this, I assume, is a problem you are NOT having...
